Preachers have an interesting task in this world, we fill a large variety of roles at various times.  (Not counting plumber, electrician, and janitor, referee, and judge.)  You might think we just stand around waiting for an audience to fulfill our need to preach, and then we dump all of our guilt trip, faith diatribes on them.  For some that may work, but that’s not generally me.  It is my job to preach the good news!

For me the Good News is pretty simple:  Hope is stronger than memory, grace is greater than sin, love is greater than apathy, good is stronger than evil, and only God is eternal; all else is fleeting.

In this blog we will cover a lot of territory, I like to explore many topics, but the foundation of everything I have to say is covered in that definition of Good News.
